DiskPrune support
DiskPrune is a Mac app for seeing where your storage went and removing what you choose, safely. It is made for developers and people who work with AI.
Contact: info@alnasltech.com. Please say which version of DiskPrune and macOS you use (DiskPrune ▸ About shows the version). We answer as soon as we can.
Common questions
Is it safe? DiskPrune never removes anything on its own. What you choose goes into the Cleanup List first, and nothing happens until you review it and press Remove. Items go to the Trash by default, and you can put them back from Deleted Files. System folders and credentials are never offered. Things that cannot be made again, such as chat history or device backups, are marked in red and ask a second time.
Why does it ask me to choose my disk? The Mac App Store version runs in Apple's sandbox, which lets an app see only what you hand to it. Choose Macintosh HD once, then press Allow Access. You can withdraw this in System Settings ▸ Privacy & Security.
Is anything uploaded? No. File names and sizes stay on your Mac. See the privacy policy.
How does the free trial work? Scanning and looking around are always free. A free 7-day trial lets you remove files. It starts when you press Start Free Trial. After 7 days you can still scan and look at everything, and put items back from Deleted Files; removing files needs the one-time unlock. There is no subscription.
I bought the unlock on another Mac. Open DiskPrune ▸ About and choose Restore Purchases. The unlock works on every Mac signed in with the same Apple ID.
I removed something by mistake. Open Deleted Files and put it back, as long as it is still in the Trash and the Trash has not been emptied.
Some folders show "macOS did not let this app open". macOS protects some places. In the App Store version those stay closed. The version from our website can ask for Full Disk Access to look inside.
